The Promise of the Future
by Dr. Cornelis P. Venema
Banner of Truth Trust, 2000
$26.00

"An introduction to the full range of biblical teaching on eschatology (the study of the last things). It rightly stresses that... as Simon Peter pointed out on the Day of Pentacost, the resurrection of Christ and the gift of the Spirit mean that the future has invaded the present, so that we are already living in 'the last days.' This helps to explain the sense of thrill and vibrancy that characterised the first Christian disciples. They realized that the new, long-awaited age of God's kingdom had already dawned in the advent of the Lord Jesus Christ... I believe that you will find the study on which you are about to embark both intellectually satisfying and spiritually enriching. It will certainly inform you; more than that it will help you to sense what a glorious thing it is to be a Christian. For this, above all, I believe you will share my gratitude to Cornelis Venema for the labour of love for Christ's people which this book represents." FROM THE FOREWORD BY SINCLAIR B. FERGUSON

But for the Grace of God
by Dr. Cornelis P. Venema
Reformed Fellowship, 1994
$5.70

An exposition and study of the Canons of Dort. The study is designed for use by adult Bible study groups, with questions for discussion and reflection provided with each chapter. The purpose of the study is to acquaint the reader with the Canons of Dort and contribute to our telling the story: but for the grace of God. (9 lessons)

What We Believe
by Dr. Cornelis P. Venema
Reformed Fellowship, 1996
$5.70

An exposition and study of the Apostles' Creed. This study, which includes questions for discussion and reflection with each chapter, aims to encourage a renewed appreciation for and use of the creeds and confessions in the church's educational ministry. (13 lessons)

Genesis 1-11
by Rev. Mark D. Vander Hart
Reformed Fellowship, 2000
$7.40

In 18 lessons Rev. Vander Hart walks through these sometimes difficult and hotly debated chapters of Genesis. In a very clear and succinct way he argues that the days of creation were six "ordinary days." But the most impressive aspect of this study is that it does not get stuck in these difficult questions but moves beyond them to open up what God is revealing about Himself in these chapters.

The Law of the Lord As our Delight
(studies on Deuteronomy 12-26)

by Dr. Nelson D. Kloosterman
Reformed Fellowship, 1993
$3.80

North American Christianity has been ravaged by the kind of dispensationalism that separates the Old and New Testaments and prefers the latter. People brought up on a diet of "the New Testament and Psalms" suffer a kind of spiritual malnutrition that can take years to remedy. God's inspired Word - all of it - is profitable for doctrine, reproof, and instruction in righteousness. That's what you'll find in these sixteen studies.

Walking About Zion:
Singing of Christ’s Church in the Psalms

by Dr. Nelson D. Kloosterman
Reformed Fellowship, 1991
$3.80

One objective of these sixteen studies is to underscore the truth that Christ's church was not born on Pentecost, but existed already in the Old Testament, among the people of Israel. The communal experience of faith, ranging from ecstatic jubilation to sickening despair, form the content of the church's singing, even today. In an age of privatized religion, we need to draw near to one another, to walk together in a shared faith that comes from above.

Gospel Power Magnified through Human Weakness (studies on 2 Corinthians)
by Dr. Nelson D. Kloosterman
Reformed Fellowship, 1992
$3.80

In the church, of all communities, people should understand human weakness most sympathetically. For in the church, divine strength has embraced, and transformed, human weakness. This gospel reminds us perpetually of both our sin and our feebleness, so that we may learn to deal effectively with those of others. Studying this gospel in 2 Corinthians will deliver us from seeking "power religion" that dazzles people out of their religious boredom. In this letter, the apostle uses emotional appeals laced with red-hot irony, and pastoral diplomacy guided by winsome logic. Because the cross is an emblem of shame and suffering, it is also the symbol of victory and power.

Pilgrims Among Pagans (studies on 1 Peter)
by Dr. Nelson D. Kloosterman
Reformed Fellowship, 1994
$3.80

Being away from home produces a variety of feelings, depending in part on the reason for our absence. Immigrants know what it's like to eat unfamiliar food, learn a new language, and be reminded that they came from somewhere else. The letter of 1 Peter addresses Christians as pilgrims, immigrants, strangers who travel together in this world toward another country. Their impulses are familiar - run, retaliate, or relax. None of them is really the answer. Learning to live as divinely different people is the central lesson of all covenant history, of all church history.
