About Mid-America Reformed Seminary

The Basics of the Program

Mid-America invites you to come to the Seminary's campus and see what it's like to attend Mid-America. You can experience Seminary for a Day.

Who?
Anyone who is interested in learning what seminary is like is invited. You do not have to be considering seminary in order to attend. High school students, retirees, supporters of the Seminary, or members of the community are invited to participate.

What?
The Seminary for a Day program will allow you to sit in on the classes of your choice, meet and interact with students and faculty, attend chapel (typically led by students on Tuesday and Wednesday and by a guest speaker on Friday), tour the facilities, browse the library, visit the bookstore, have lunch with students and/or faculty, view a presentation on the procedure toward ordination, and more.

When?
Seminary for a Day will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the school year.

How do I sign up?
You can sign up by calling the Seminary or using the online registration form. Registering is free, but must be done at least 2 weeks in advance.
Registrants will receive a welcome letter with schedule, driving directions, and instructions. If you are coming from out of town, feel free to contact the Seminary for help with housing arrangements or suggestions of things in the area (Chicago) to see and do.
