Dr. Marcus A. Mininger

Associate Professor of New Testament Studies | Director of Institutional Assessment

Dr. Marcus A. Mininger is associate pastor at New Covenant Community Church (OPC).  He also serves on the Candidates and Credentials Committee of the OPC’s Presbytery of the Midwest and has enjoyed preaching and teaching at many Reformed churches across the country.

Dr. Mininger’s doctoral dissertation traces the theme of revelation throughout Romans 1:16-3:26 and thereby develops a new, redemptive-historical approach to understanding Paul's argument. The dissertation has also been published by Mohr Siebeck, and can be seen here. Dr. Mininger has taught courses at Princeton Theological Seminary, St. Joseph’s University, and Westminster Theological Seminary.  He has delivered papers at various scholarly conferences and contributed articles to both popular and scholarly periodicals such as the Princeton Seminary Bulletin, Koinonia, New Horizons. Recently, he was appointed co-editor of the Mid-America Journal of Theology. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Society of Biblical Literature.
